With a love for storytelling in his blood, Albrecht began creating short films and skits with his friends, brother, and cousins at just 13. Albrecht has an extensive database of video directors, creators, editors, animators across the world.
Since 2007 Marko Albrecht has produced award-winning video content professionally. His body of work includes thousands of videos for social media, multiple award-winning short films, hundreds of hours of branded entertainment and webseries content, and two feature documentaries.
A short film Albrecht produced, Showtime, was made in partnership with Cadillac and the Producers Guild of America. The film won multiple awards across the country and was accepted into 50+ film festivals. The documentary titled SISU: Family, Love, and Perseverance from Finland to America that Albrecht produced was critically acclaimed called a "time capsule of Finnish American life from the 1960s-2000."
Albrecht is a member of the Producers Guild of America New Media Council and the Television Academy Interactive Media Peer group.
